The Process
Problem Statement:
Being a 90's kid how we used enjoy renting bicycle from our neighbourhood bicycle shop free roam with friends. There is a growing demand for eco-friendly and affordable transportation options in urban areas, which has led to an increase in the popularity of bicycle rentals.
However, there are several challenges faced by both customers and bicycle rental companies in the current market. Customers often struggle to find available bicycles and rental stations, while rental companies face difficulties in managing inventory and ensuring the security of their bicycles. Additionally, customers may also have concerns regarding the cost and convenience of the rental process. These challenges need to be addressed to provide a seamless and enjoyable bicycle rental experience for customers while also ensuring the profitability and sustainability of rental companies.

To create a mobile friendly bicycle rental application.

Assumptions made:
User uses bicycle when they want to do a shot trip in urban spaces at budget friendly prices. Also they expect it should be rentable anywhere from city main destinations and drop it with their nearest drop locations.
Convenience: Users want an easy and hassle-free way to rent bicycles, without having to spend time searching for rental shops or filling out paperwork.
Affordability: Users want a rental service that is affordable and transparent, without any hidden fees or charges.
Safety: Users prioritize safety, and want to be assured that the bicycles are well-maintained and secure.
Ease of use: Users want an application that is simple and easy to use, with clear instructions and minimal steps required to rent a bike.
Design:
Based on my traditional research, I developed a design that focused on simplicity, ease of use, and safety. The key features of the application are as follows:
Sign up and rental process: Users can sign up for the service and rent bicycles through the app, with a streamlined rental process that requires minimal steps.
Map view: Users can view available bicycles on a map, with real-time updates on bike availability and location. The users can access their rental just where they standby/
Payment system: A traditional way to pay for rentals through the app, with a secure and transparent payment system that accepts various forms of payment. with hourly and day rental which gives them the leverage of hassle free rental experience.
ID verification: To ensure safety and prevent misuse of the bicycles, users must submit a valid ID before renting a bike.
Rating system: Unique way to rate the bicycles and the rental service, which encourages responsible usage and discourages misuse. However helps other users to find which cycle is more rated and quickly available.
The Results

Adding a help section with FAQs and contact information.
Improving the map view to provide more information about bike availability and rental locations.
Enhancing the payment system to provide users with a detailed breakdown of costs and rental duration.
Including a notification system to keep users informed about bike availability, rental duration, and cost.
Making the rental process more user-friendly and intuitive, with clear language and instructions.
Conclusion:
Klick bicycle rental application design provides a seamless and user-friendly experience for users. The app offers an easy and convenient way for users to rent bicycles for short-term use, while also addressing concerns around safety and security.
Through user testing and feedback, we have continuously improved the application to meet the needs of potential users. Overall, the application has the potential to revolutionize the bicycle rental market and make it more accessible to a wider audience.
